Torquoi - WIP

Torquoi is a boss rush game that can be played alone or online with up to 2 players.

You play as one of two perpetual motion machines that can spin forever unless something causes you to stop completely.  One spins clockwise and the other counter-clockwise, gradually picking up speed.

• Spin speed is affected negatively by collisions unless the object hit is spinning in the same direction.
  • A clockwise spinning projectile hitting a clockwise spinning player will push the player but not affect spin.
    
  • A spinning bumper gear will bounce any player but will increase or decrease the player's spin based on whether the spin directions match.

Use the environment and the boss' attacks against them!

Take advantage of spin-coded game elements to protect your partner and keep spinning as fast as you can! 

Developed as an entry for Boss Rush Jam 2025 during the month of January. Made with Unity 6 and Playroom Kit.
