Overview

Pronounced "tork-wah", Torquoi is a boss rush game for up to 2 players where all gameplay mechanics are tied to "spin". The faster your character spins the faster you move and the harder you hit. Just don't stop spinning completely or else it's game over!

You'll slowly regain spin over time and there are bumpers to collide with that can give you a spin boost as long as it's spinning in the same direction as you. Likewise, any projectiles that are spinning in the same direction can be absorbed for a boost to your spin.

This prototype includes one boss, Papa Pinion, with three stages to fight through.

Controls

Player 1 Movement: WASD keys or Left Stick on gamepad

Player 2 Movement: IJKL keys or Right Stick on gamepad
